Direct export of annotations from Oxygen Review Center
The full version of Oxygen Review Center now supports direct transfer of Key Evidence, tags, and notes that were created collaboratively to Oxygen Forensic® Detective or Oxygen Remote Explorer.
To transfer annotations, click the Export to OFD/ORE button on the Devices or Cases page and select the Via direct export option. In the dialog window, choose a computer available on your local network and select the annotations you want to send to Oxygen Forensic® Detective or Oxygen Remote Explorer.
Once imported, the annotations will appear in a dedicated ORC Annotations section, where you can filter them by reviewer, source, or tag, see which users created each annotation and when it was added, and then synchronize the annotations with other sections in Oxygen Forensic® Detective or Oxygen Remote Explorer.
Transfer of merged contacts
Merged contacts for a device are now transferred from Oxygen Forensic® Detective or Oxygen Remote Explorer and displayed in the Contacts section. Merged contacts are marked with a dedicated icon and can be expanded to view the individual contacts included in the merge. Support for transferring merged contacts at the case level is planned for the next release.
Case-specific tags
You can now create tags that are specific to a particular case. To do this, open the Tags Manager and select case-level privacy when creating a tag. These tags will only be visible within the assigned case, helping enhance the privacy of the data review process.
Speech-to-text results for audio messages
You can now view speech-to-text results for audio messages, including both original transcripts and translated text, directly in the Timeline and Communications pages. This enhancement makes reviewing audio messages faster and more efficient.
Link to a customer area
Users of the full version can now access their customer area directly from the program’s Settings menu.

Annotations panel
We’ve made collaboration easier by introducing the Annotations panel, available in the right sidebar of every section of Oxygen Review Center. It includes two key components:
- Users can now add multiple notes to each entry they review. Every note is automatically labeled with the username and a timestamp, making it easier to track contributions.
- A detailed activity log shows who added or removed Key Evidence flags, tags, or notes, ensuring full visibility into all updates.
Annotations transfer from Oxygen Review Center
You can now transfer Key Evidence, tags, and notes created collaboratively in Oxygen Review Center to Oxygen Forensic® Detective or Oxygen Remote Explorer. To transfer annotations, export the data as a file from the Devices or Cases pages. The exported file will appear in the Export section. You can then upload it to Oxygen Forensic® Detective or Oxygen Remote Explorer. All entries with Key Evidence, tags, and notes will appear in a dedicated ORC Annotations section. There, you can filter by reviewer, source, or tag, see which users added annotations, and when each annotation was created.
Facial categorization data review
If facial categorization is used in Oxygen Forensic® Detective, the results are now transferred to Oxygen Review Center. They can be reviewed using the Faces filter in the Files section. You can also navigate to recognized faces from the Dashboard.
Translated Speech to text results review
When data is transcribed and then translated in Oxygen Forensic® Detective or Oxygen Remote Explorer, the translated transcribed results are now available for review in the Files section of Oxygen Review Center.
Social Graph filters
We have added multiple filters to simplify working with Social Graph. You can filter communications by application, account, contact, group, and number of communications in the Social Graph. We have also added search functionality to the Social Graph grid and the Communications panel.
Other improvements
Several other improvements have been added:
- the option to select HTTP or HTTPS during software installation
- a direct link to the Customer Area in the Admin Settings menu
- the password setup window during installation now has the password visibility toggle and confirmation field
Oxygen Review Center v.2.0
The Oxygen Review Center v.2.0 is now available and includes the features described below:
Software refresh
Oxygen Analytic Center is now Oxygen Review Center, a critical addition to our Oxygen Ecosystem. This enhanced approach better aligns with our strategy and our customers’ request of providing a user-friendly review platform for non-technical users.
Translated data review
If data is translated in Oxygen Forensic® Detective or Oxygen Remote Explorer and then transferred to Oxygen Review Center, it becomes available for review in the Timeline and Communications sections. You can view both the original and translated messages and data, filter and search through them, and include them in data reports. Translations significantly simplify investigations by eliminating language barriers.
Speech to Text results review
When media files are transcribed using the Speech-to-Text engine in Oxygen Forensic® Detective or Oxygen Remote Explorer, the transcription results are transferred to Oxygen Review Center. They are available for review in the Files section. You can view the transcribed speech on the right sidebar, filter and search through it, and include this data in reports. Transcriptions help accelerate investigations by saving time and improving accessibility.
Improvements in the Timeline filters
We’ve made two improvements to the Timeline filters:
- Multiple individual categories have been consolidated into broader groups – such as Applications, Calls, Messages, Geolocations, Productivity, and others.
- The Application filter now recognizes all apps and displays each with its icon.
Together, these updates make filtering faster, more intuitive, and streamlined.
